Professional Conservatory Information
Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland
The Austin Dance Conservatory is excited to bring a delightful and family-friendly adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s classic tale Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland as well as our company Mixed Repertoire performances to the Georgetown Palace Theater this Spring. The shows, which will run on May 5-6 at 6:30 p.m. will take guests on a remarkable adventure as they follow Alice down the rabbit hole and into the most unusual world of Wonderland.
2025 NUTCRACKER PERFORMANCES
As the local Georgetown Nutcracker, this is the fourth year The Austin Dance Conservatory performed the classic holiday tradition, The Nutcracker, for area communities. This year's sold out performances were truly magical and solidified ADC's reputation as one of the most sought after shows in the Austin area. The mission of The Austin Dance Conservatory is to instruct, educate and enrich young people and their audiences through the art of dance, and provide quality classical ballet performances for the community. These performances provide an opportunity to showcase local talent, cultivate an appreciation for the arts, and inspire the next generation of dancers.
Behind the Curtain
The Austin Dance Conservatory was able to host its first ever Behind the Curtain event this year to raving reviews. Attendees were thrilled to experience this year's sold out production and the magic of the season by getting the first look at the finished 2025 Nutcracker production. Attendees experienced all the behind the scenes details and preparation as the ADC faculty executed their final dress rehearsal which incorporated different elements from both casts and performances.
Mixed Repertoire
Professional Conservatory students who are interested in creating performance pieces alongside our world renown professional choreographers, may have the opportunity to submit to become choreographers in our Student Choreography / Mixed Repertoire Series. These choreography and performance opportunities are reserved for our Professional Conservatory, and are by invite only.
Competitions
Professional conservatory members participate in some of the world's largest and most prestigious scholarship competitions. These include multiple regional, national and international opportunities.
Programs & Classes
The Austin Dance Conservatory offers a plethora of training and performance opportunities with various conservatory levels led by accredited and accomplished industry professionals. ADC focuses on proper dance education and artistry, with a comprehensive and codified curriculum.
